Ashley is an accountable virtual assistant who completes tasks before the deadline and always over delivers. She believes that every project, big or small, is valuable and she devotes the same amount of attention to detail as if it were her own business.
Ashley has independently and virtually assisted executive leaders in county government for the past 6 years by supporting regional collaboration, training, and initiatives. The government leaders are located throughout the California San Joaquin Valley, spanning an area of 33,000 sq miles; however, Ashley’s focus on communication and efficient use of technology makes the distance disappear. She has also worked for a health research institute to develop policies and procedures for budgets, implement performance management systems, and conduct data analysis regarding non-profit health benefit rates. Ashley developed a community fall prevention coalition with interdisciplinary health partners, educational leaders and private industry representatives and continues to volunteer her time to serve older adults. She is an emerging leader at California State University, Fresno as evidenced by her selection for the prestigious staff mentor program and her current pending patent application for an Electronic Performance Management Dashboard, which was developed for public health department accreditation.
Ashley is trained in Website Development/Editing (WordPress Custom Site, WordPress.com, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, WooCommerce, and others), Social Media Marketing (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, SnapChat, YouTube, Google +, and others), Search Engine Optimization (SEO, Google Ranking), Website Optimization (Performance, Speed, Loading Time), Performance Management and Quality Improvement, Executive Scheduling, Virtual Meeting Facilitation and Minutes (Zoom, Skype), Virtual Collaboration (Box, DropBox, Asana), and Pre-Med and Pre-Health Student Advising (Liaison International, Cal State Apply). Ashley has designed numerous websites, fliers, forms, social media content, and presentations and composed countless letters, agendas, guidelines, and agreements.
Ashley is also the go-to technology guru in every office she has worked for, as well as the community expert within her family and friend circles. She thrives on helping others better understand technology and use it in a way to improve communication and enhance efficiency and time management. Fun Fact: Ashley’s Grandma (age 87) uses email, Instagram, SnapChat and Cloud sharing services.
In order to stay present with herself and her clients Ashley does yoga, meditation, swimming, and spends time in nature. Mental and physical well-being are important for everyone, but especially a virtual assistant as there are many projects and priorities going on at once. Ashley thrives in an environment with multiple priorities and deadlines and enjoys working on various projects. She is an expert in time management, task prioritization, follow-up communication, and customer service. Ashley has a flexible attitude and can handle situations that arise on a day-to-day basis as she understands that priorities can quickly change.
Ashley holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health and Media Studies from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master’s in Public Administration from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
